When I start up RenGuard, it will go through the list of files, all of them being good, then it finds a Game2.exe file and says it's bad. It removes the option of starting up Renegade.

When I tried to delete the file, the next time I started up Renegade it said, "Could not find game".

That would be because you just deleted the actual exe to start renegade.

Re-install and dont forget to update to the 1.037 patch before installing renguard.

1. Un-install Renguard.
2. Delete both Games.exes in your Renegade folder.
3. Download this No-CD crack.
4. Put the Game.exe in your Renegade directory.
5. Re-install Rengaurd.

Try this, if that doesn't work then it's something with RenGuard itself.

I combined my two game(2).exe files and edited all the shortcuts so they send it to my gamex.exe. Which also is the No CD crack, and that works.
