its a wrong alarm.
hackers use to put trojans in that SKVB.sys and NAV now always kills that sys if you start games like renny(RG) or eDonkey, they use it to make the gmaes more safe or as copy protect.
I got that too, 2 days ago.
How to fix that Norton Shit:
Download my attachet archive, deactive Norton Auto Protect (start NAV, click options at the top, Norton Anty Virus, remove the tick left to "Active Auto-Protect", save settings close NAV).
Then extract the archive to your desktop and start SVKP_fix.cmd press, Yes and OK and run the proggy. After this reactive your Norton Auto Protect and everything should be fine.
THIS WORKS!~!!

RenGuard 1.04 private beta will soon start, the final release won't be anytime soon. We will no longer use SVKP because of NAV but ALSO because we want to support x64 versions of Windows. And to use SVKP we would need to re-new our subscription which costs money aswell. So we rather buy a product which we find more suitable.

Nothing is impossible, somethings just requires alot of time.
"Impossible" things done so far together with SK:
RenRem Protocol - Custom Checksum/Encryption
HL2 FileSystem replacement
C&C95 Multiplayer under XP with up to 4 players
