Ok im not sure if this is a renegade prob or a renguard prob but here it goes. i will be in the middle of playing and out of no where the game will freeze for about 10 secs with no sound then the sound will come back and the game will unfreeze in about another 5 secs.the game will come back but it ends up freezing again usually and i end up getting disconnected from the server. about 1/3 of the time when this happens renegade shuts down and if i close everything down and try to restart i continually get error msgs and windows trys to send to microsoft also when renegade starts up it goes throught the westwood config and after that i get the errors. the other 2/3 of the time renguard disconects and all the servers say im not connected to renguard. any info would be much appreciated. i have tried to uninstall rg and ren just to reinstall with no luck. when i uninstalled i tried to delete everything i could find including stuff in the registry.

I know this might seem obvious...but this sounds like a network problem...here comes the old question everybody has to ask...have you ran the game with your firewall turned off?

I only ask because the connection halts and renguard disconnects point right to your own network being at fault in some way or another. it might be something making use of your network, like a firewall, or your network itself. you might think that renguard disconnects are the renguard program's fault but since you also have a problem maintaining connection to game servers it's far more likely your own network protocol has trouble maintaining connection to other servers, or maintaining connection itself (staying online)..

I haven't experienced this myself but am occasionally disconnected from renguard. don't get the gameplay pending though.

Do you have a serious anti-virus and anti-spyware program? That's the first question all should ask...

You can find me in The KOSs2 (TK2) discord while I'm playing. Feel free to come and say hi! TK2 discord
