This has been happening in our servers recently and it is very annoying is there any way to disable this or FIX it and make it where when you get this kind of page the command does not work.

When ever is happens it drops the clients FPS to like 15... you cant play and they all leave.

Also if it is at all possible in the next version I would recommend that you make it where you can make a list of names to ignore incoming pages from. However that is kinda pointless seeing how it would take forever banning all these bots.

Wow finally someone has something similiar to what happened to my server once....

Two people joined and one was able to continously rec the other over and over until a moderator kicked them both. The individual had aquired over 200 before they were kicked.

No... this is over like 200 bots paging our server. They are all blocked now but it is still annoying.

You could disable pages, then just use ppage. You couldn't page outside the server or recieve any pages from outside the server though, obviously.

Maybe there should be some way to disable multiple pages from one IP or something...like if you get 10 pages in a second it disables 9 of them and so on. Like flood control or something.

Disabling pages completely might not be a very good idea.

Hmmm, Yeah this can be easily done through using (certain tools) and mIRC, set mIRC to send a page continuously on a timer (this page could be anything, even a !rec/!nood). Even more severely a server could be spammed so much as to make its SFPS as low as 1 or 2 and spike many peoples pings up 3000 (30 secs).
