I did not realize that a liger was a real animal. Interesting.

Why is this in Hot Topics?

Anyway, yeah. Ligers are quite real. It's not just some fictitious thing made up by depraved and bored furries.(Oh, now I see why it's in "Hop Topics." Hurr hurr hurr.) However, cross-breeding a tiger and a lion does usually have serious reprecussions. From what I remember from Elementary School, if you do that, the liger/ligress is quite a bit weaker than either the mother or the father. It's a little like in-breeding in the aspect that it wreaks havoc on the already-delicate genetics of two similar, yet different animals. Or something.

har, har.

I put it here, because I'm sure someone will eventually come in stating how wrong it is to manipulate nature/cross breed unnaturally/etc.

I heard on the Discovery channel or something a long time ago that the reason they get so big is because the growth inhibiting gene is carried by female lions and male tigers, so they just keep growing and growing.

When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself,
First as a dark demon,
As a demon it uses its power to reign death upon the land;
and then it dies.

However, after a period of slumber, Razgriz returns.
This time as a great hero...
