Never turn off your Windows XP Service Pack 2 firewall! That's just begging to be screwed-with. No, instead, look for a pop-up query that should say something like "This program is attempting to send/recieve information on the Internet. Allow?" Click the Allow or Yes button(I forget which considering I haven't had to see that prompt for a while) to let Renegade transmit and recieve data.
