I bought Age of Empires when it first came out. I played it for two days. I haven't touched it since. Worst game that I payed full price for.

I love its complexity. It's something new in the Age of Empires series. Sadly, I've only played the game for maybe 1.5 hours since I'm swimming under unlimited homework.

I love how these installers check to see if the install directory doesn't exist and if not, ask you if you want to create it. I mean, if I didn't want to create that directory then maybe I didn't want to install the game. Right?
Edit:
To add to the gayness that is AoE, this demo causes my computer to reboot when it is launched.

In what way is this a game breaking thing and why should anyone care? It's just installing the fucking game. I swear, you people post the most petty shit.

Does it make you so mad that you have to take it off topic? You had to take it off topic over something so small? You're just as petty. Idiot.
ANYWAYS, This game is groundbreaking. At least I think so. The graphics are breathtaking. Even if the gameplay isn't so great I think you should download it and check it out for the scenery alone.
This is my personal favriote screenshot:

I was only able to play it for an hour between work school and homework yesterday but it was awsome. I figured it wouldn't be as good because its all in a new age now and not the medievel age but I proved myself wrong.
I'm not to fond of the new ingame control bar's though. I liked the old ones a lot better.

The ships are pretty damn nice. I was expecting some boat that could physically fit an elephant or two inside like in the previous AoE's, but DAMN. When that prettyness appeared by the docks, covering 1/4 of the screen with 1600*1200 resolution...

I'm so excited! AHHH!
I just wish the demo was more stable for me. Anyone having problems with the demo as stuttering sounds and crashes? I can't seem to get the first demo mission to work at all.
And what happened to the one-button option?! Looks like C&C isn't the influence as it used to be...

You're thinking about upgrades and resources. That's really the only part that is slower than usual.

It never crashes for me... nor does the sound stutter. Is your computer decent in the system requirements? Try lowering the graphic settings if possible.
That kind of sucks though, it's a great demo.
