Some slight good news though, according to xbox.com the core console and nothing else included is $299. Half of the shocker sticker price of the combo packages now avalible for pre-order.

N64 is my mistress, i just cant seem getting past not playing Perfect Dark: Zero.

I Pre-Ordered it. Total of $375. $25 to the store for Pre-Ordering, and $350 for the 360. I doubt ill get the game, but im sure ill get the controller.

Well the $299 will get you the XBox 360, 1 wired controller and all the cables for installation.

Now what about a game? That usually around an extra $50 or $60. Add the total together, and thats around my price.

I won't be spending my money on an XBox360 or the PS3. To me its stupid to try and keep up with all the new gaming systems. I bought a XBox and that will last me a long time.

I would rather spend $600 bucks on a supercharger for my VW Beetle.

Dude, ive never owned a single console in my entire life, not even one of the two Sega Genesis consoles my mom owns. This would be why i want a 360. I wont be getting the PS3, to my knowledge, but im getting a PS2 sooner or later, for all the games ive got. My sister used to have one here until she moved out.

Unlike the 360, the PS3 is fully backwards compatible. So you if you are going to buy a ps2 you might aswell get a ps3. If you have the money that is.

Playstation just doesnt make games for me. I only liked a few Psx games that came out (FF7, Army Men 3d, Etc). My Ps2 is sadly unused, i played and beat FFx and Socom I & II, and FFx-2 just couldnt keep my attention.

So i wont buy a Ps3 or PSP. They seem to focus more on anime style than anything.

Now the Nintendo Revolution will be on my shelf. I will be able to play Perfect Dark N64 online! ("Likely" they say)

I probably won't get the PS3 unless they do a remake of Final Fantasy 7 for it. Its a great game but its so hard to look at.

I used to love that game to bits. But when I try to play it again, my eyes start to sting and I have to turn it off.

I wish they'd remake it. Those graphics were a terrible shame.

I am not going to get a consol. I had the PS1, I went on to the PS2, then I went on to the XBOX. They are nothing special to me. I will better spend my money on upgrades for my computer and playing computer games. Consols...they will get better in time, but they are just getting closer to computers.
