Mine's not necessarily a shell replacement like Aston, but I am using windows binds with desktopx for the cpu monitor and stuff.

When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself,
First as a dark demon,
As a demon it uses its power to reign death upon the land;
and then it dies.

However, after a period of slumber, Razgriz returns.
This time as a great hero...

Close...Actually I just went crazy with the gadient tool then added the color using the hue and saturation tool. After that I added 2 movie prime lens flares and deleted the actual flare. Added the text, copied the layer, blured the bottom text. Boom, done. Extremely simple. LOL. Noooooooooo you caught me!

It's called ObjectDock. Search Google.

There nothing wrong with filters, yes but like gbull said brushing is better.

That's an incredibly retarded way to get rid of icons. Are you stupid? You just remove them from the desktop, not crash Explorer. You go along stuck in your little useless Windows "secrets".

Or, crazy thought, go find the picture again, and send IT instead of a picture of your actual desktop with the icons on them. I agree with IceDog, keep your little Windows secrets to yourself.

Edit: Whoops! Excuse me, i have to take a picture of my Desktop...

Yes, ive changed my Windows Theme once again. I can read things with this color configuration, and ive yet to find any Warcraft Orc icons to use.

Or even easier,

Start
:-Run

C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\

Enter

and it will be stored as "Wallpaper1.bmp"

Well thats for XP anyway.

I don't really know why I have a background at the moment I'm going to change it to one colour of plain blue.
