Give me some images, and when you click the default shortcut for Renegade it will auto-popup Rengaurd, because Game.exe has been renamed to game2.exe and there is a new game.exe created. Also you may be kicked because of a bug, exit Renegade then restart Rengaurd.
EDIT: I moved this to Rengaurd Client because it belongs there.

Does your RenGuard installation automatically launch Renegade, or must you manually click the 'Renegade' button to launch Renegade?
With which name do you play Renegade?

RenGuard starting instead of Renegade is good. It means that RenGuard is most likely installed correctly.
Assuming you play Renegade with the username "dabigma", then it is most likely that you are not a victim of characters not making it to the network (for example, '%').
Does RenGuard display any error messages, whether before and/or after launching Renegade?
