hi everyone.
First off all, id like to compliment the developers of renguard. Renegade is more fun without cheaters. However, since a few days im banned for some reason. i suspect my son has been messing around, cause i had to reinstall renegade.
i really would like to get unbanned, i love to play renegade and i can assure u i don't cheat or hack or nothing. i think my statistics will show that, and im sure that a lot of other renegade players will confirm this.
thats why i would kindly ask u to plz remove the ban?

We only ban when someone tries to bypass RenGuard.

That means you got banned for trying to exploit RenGuard with the name of username by using one of 2 blacklisted "game2modded.exe" files, that try to exploit a RenGuard bug that has been fixed months ago. This detection method is 100% legit and it has no false positives.

How to get unbanned when banned for bypassing RenGuard
If you try to bypass RenGuard to cheat on RenGuard protected servers, thus destroying the game for others, we think it is fair to ban you. A few months ago, we had the policy to leave these bans in the system indefinitally.
We decided now to take donations from (former) Cheaters to get them unbanned. Think of it as a "service charge" to remove your name from the banlist, and a dontation to Blackhand Studios. RenGuard costs alot of money every month just to keep it up, and we pay this out of our own pockets, just to protect it from evil cheaters like YOU.
You will need to donate $30 to get unbanned. There are no exceptions. Stop trying to say it was your brother/cat/dog/neighbor. You are responsible for what happens with your serial number and with your renegade installation.

This particular ban was placed because of an incident on xphaze servers where the player was on RenGuard, yet was allegedly able to turbo repair.

aha! i know what u mean on the xphaze server!
let me explain. i was running RG, i was a engineer on gdi. it was field i think, and i was disarming mines in tunnel. at the same time i was disarming, someone on nod was overmining,so a lot of mines disappeared and thats why it seemed i had some repaircheat. i was kicked then before i could tell the man they were overmining. i tried to join again to explain, but couldn't get in, nor could i on other xphaze servers.
at the time, i laughed cause they were overmining and the mines disappeared but next i got kicked and then banned from RG.
i hope u can remove the ban after reading this.

I believe him as well, as it was not a server recorded error, and no test was performed. He has renguard, and yet was banned by a mod. That alone should get him unbanned, but I am SURE that the owners of the xPhase server will not let him join because they claim he was cheating, and will not back down (it's not a bad server at all mind you, just that they went through all this trouble, hard to see them let them back in.)
Good luck to ya buddy, sometimes times suck, of course you could be cheating, but then you would burn in hell, and we don't want that, do we??

thx for ur respons and ur confidence, and yes it happens sometimes when ur disarming mines and at the same time proxis disappear cause of overmining. just too bad the mod on the xphaze server didnt think a little further and kicked me right away.

ty too for ur confidence and id like too say again, i was running RG on that game in xphaze server. i hope ill get the ban removed, though it would be sorry if i couldn't join a xphazeserver again, cause i think its a good server and i like playing on them. maybe a mod from that server reads this and will allow me to rejoin?

thx in advance for trying. he will say he saw proxis disappear very quick after eachother when i was disarming one of them. but that was because of the overmininng job on nod like i said before. it would be great to allow me again, but that still doesnt remove my ban on RG. and the ban on RG is a direct result of the ban/kick on the xphaze server......
anyways, still keeping my fingers crossed.

There is a "double damage" glitch for renegade, I've mentioned it a couple of times in the past, talking about the "hotwired med vs three artys" is probably doubleheal combined with a crappy NUR on the server (<3 30)

Mostly I think people on that server and others want to prove to me somehow that RenGuard sucks because people get past it. All I can do is investigate the situation.
