Exactly. If someone wants to use it, fix it up a bit... they shouldn't expect someone to do all the work for their modelling needs. Granted, several mod teams I've seen around here do have people who do just modeling, but at least they work for the team. You basically do this as a free service to anyone who wants to think about using it in something, and so far all I've seen that you want in return is just some recognition... not a very high price I say.

The problem is, that it'd be easier to just remake the models than spend the time to optimize them, I'm not saying these models are bad, they just don't belong in modX, that's just my oppinion, but if you want to continue uploading them, I suggest you keep them to one thread.

Well they can be used in things like videos. I dunno if Dante changed his mind but in Requests, I think (one of those many boards, lol), Dante said ModX wasn't for just Renegade.

Like I said...
Anyways, it doesn't really matter what you think in this situation. If they didn't belong in ModX, someone who accually ran the site would have contacted him ages ago... since he uploads them often, and accually tells people about them, someone who has authority there would have seen at least some of them by now and pulled the plug if they didn't.

I admin some of the upload area's for ModX -
and Madtone - or any other member - can upload anything they wish - as long as they follow the FAQ's for the site.
It's not just for Renegade - anything that could be used for modding any game is welcomed.
