I have been using RenGuard for a while now, but I haven't been playing much lately, so I do not know when this started, but I noticed a couple of weeks ago, RenGuard would not be recognized by the server I was currently playing on, resulting in my being "!forcerg'ed" a few times. Naturally, this is quite irritating when I know RenGuard is running and it says that it is running. I have tried reinstalling everything from RenGuard to Renegade, but to no avail. Why is this happening?

Are you sure you have the latest version of renegade? also, it could be your firewall setting is too high.

Hmm rg jsut seems to keep having problems i also noticed a abudence of new bypassers today all in one server all of them snipers hitting you in your own buildings i see rg keeps upto date on all the current shit

mrp how is standing inside the agt with the in the corner lag when i stood there for a good minute then a guy also in the agt died at the same time as me from the same guy there is no way it was possible and i was wathcing peopel die behind walls and in buildings how do you explain when i got killed in the bar ?

I have the latest version of Renegade, or else I wouldn't be getting into the servers in the first place. And I turned my firewall off.

wow Lijitsu you obvouisly ddint read what i wrote there was no way a shot was possible unless they were in the agt with me which they wernt second of all i nkow how the ghost in renegade work and that coudlent be the reason other people pmed me and complained about the same thing and a few of us left im not gonig to argue anymore the fact is theres still ways to bypass rg its not fail safe

I had the same problem in PistolServ AOW this morning...which led to a cheater getting away with a repair gun h4x b/c I COULD NOT !forcerg him and nobody else would...

Its a random bug somewhere along the RenGuard Network or SSC. It should go away after you restart RenGuard. I was having a lot of trouble with it a day or so ago.

Actually yes, i as having the same problem as the first guy, i have RG and i was gettin !forcerg all the time, im pretty sure it was just a bug for that particular day because now there are no prblems, my question is, is there ne way to fix this problem/bug so you cant get forcerged?

It is consistent. It will not go away. It happens everyday, restart or no. I have reinstalled EVERYTHING, RenGuard, Renegade, everything, but nothing fixes it. It runs, but the servers do not recognize it.

What is the account you play under?
Does RenGuard actually say it's connected to the network?
Start RenGuard and Renegade, join a server as fast as you can, and !rg yourself. If it says that you are running RenGuard, then your connection is probably dropping shortly after, which would be an indication of either a firewall or lag issue.

I sign on under one of my WOL nicks, and no, I do not change it from the one RenGuard signs on with. It does indeed say that it is connected to the RenGuard network, and I've tried disabling my firewall. Nothing works. It now has about a 10% probability of recognizing RenGuard, but that is it.
