im trying to install renguard again it wont let me?? [message #166527]

i need renguard to play on most servers i had it before i move i had to reinstall i got update i cant get it. at the end of download it says game2 exe. already existsets and i deleted renegade and it still doesn't work help!!!!!!

I had the same problem. Have you tryed to uninstall reguard and reinstall? If you did and it don't work uninstall renegade, basiclly start over. But make sure renguard is fully uninstalled off your computer. Try that it (Might) work. Let me know if it works.

P.S. If you don't have CP1=(Core Patch1) Please Get It.

I think you missed the point of his post, If he cant install renguard, he cant do as you say by uninstalling it..

I didnt have the time to make a more constructive post at the time
i replied earlier...
Ill do now:

The only time you will get that error is when you Uninstall
Renegade while you have a working RenGuard installed as well.

If you have RenGuard installed:
When you want to (re/un)install Renegade you must
- Uninstall RenGuard FIRST
- Uninstall Renegade
- Possibly delete the whole Renegade directory through explorer
so your sure you have a 'clean' destination folder to install
Renegade in..

When you done the above, to get it all working again:
- Install Renegade
- Update Renegade to v 1.037
- Install RenGuard
- Have RenGuard install the Core Patch 1
- Play
