I was trying to play on [NE] Clan's "Hells Sniper" server and I got the following error message:
"Your attempt to use the lan-exploit has been logged and will be reviewed."
The thing is, I didn't do anything. I didn't even change network settings or even game settings for that matter.
Is this a known bug? How will it affect my gameplay?
My current network configuration is DHCP with a one week lease on that IP. Every time it is renewed I get the same IP address.
The only thing I can think of is the interaction with my VMware installation (and the virtual network that is emmulated on the host operating system). But even with that being said, I've had this same setup since I started using RenGuard and I never got this error.
Please let me know if this is something I shouldn't be concerned about or if you need more information from me.
