Yes, that's right... I (who didn't code the app OR the master servers) thought that a file was scanned that wasn't being scanned properly. We did, in fact, fix the bug and no one has been able to use an altered game2.exe to connect to the network since.
The "new" exploit that we are aware of and have duplicated, is similar, but NOT the same. It uses the same concept of the altered game2.exe but goes about kinda-sorta fooling the system differently.
However, no one should EVER trust someone as not cheating when they are "Idle". EVER. It's only when you are listed on a server that your connection is protected to the maximum.
Show me one app with this complexity that never had a bug or exploit and I'll give you $100. Otherwise, quit being an asshole.

Thank you, Tecstasy for a more legible reply. Forgive me for not understanding what "Complexity shoudlent you have bene ontop of this already" means.
Once again, you have absolutely no clue what we deal with, what we hear, and what we do all day with regards to RenGuard. 99% of what we hear is "omg he headshot me cheat0r ban him!" and just saying "I saw someone using FR in a full RenGuard server" isn't anywhere NEAR enough to even think about starting to find out how they did it. Now that we've been provided with a starting point, we are working actively on the problem. It all stems back to the fact that you are NOT a programmer and therefore you have no frame of reference in this at all. Just your desires as a gamer.

We already know about it... we weren't able to actually cheat with the exploit but we're going to do what we can to prevent the part of the exploit that someone has apparently figured out...

If he has done nothing wrong, it is his right to try to get an unban... I don't see how you should interfear with it. It's something between crimson and him.

i didnt try to bypass/brag about bypassing, why u think im pissed off about being banned?

Wow your still saying we braged about it how is it braging if you offerd to show them i did not make the bypass. I found it tested it out and it worked and went straight to there irc channel. I told them and thoese quotes about the cheats was because he said the bot was down when it wasnt i was testing its a shame you cant get past your egos.
