I seem to have 9150 FDS keys, now taking bids (Don't make fun of my lame ass picture editing skills Sneaky

) No, im not serious on the bidding part...

If you are really interested, you should send them all to Blackhand Studios, so we can create a page where people can request them, much like the orginal FDS request page..

Good idea mac, but if there's no way of limiting the amount of serials per player, as you have a limited number, one idiot is gonna spend his day emptying them... And then we are back to scratch... Sad

I can think of several ways of not allowing any bots/scripts to get all the serials. Ie, restrictions by ip, email, hostname and entering the words from a graphic on each request (how was that called?)

There normally shouldn't be THAT many requests for a FDS-serial, so it should be pretty easy to spot when someone is trying to abuse the system. If you have some time, then make it that the request must be aprooved by yourself. If 50 requests arrive in like half an hour where normally only 3 arrive then, you will spot something that a machine will not spot Wink

I'm with Mac on this one. Be charitable. Donate them all to Blackhand Studios so they can be distributated on a first-come first-server policy via web form. Please.
And Mac. Limit, like. . . Five per customer(IP address) and one a day, or so. That's what I'd do. I can't see where anyone would need more than five at any given time anyway. One is more than enough for most people as most people run Cable or T1 lines anyway.
