I was wondering if it is possible to run Brenbot for a windows based WOL-server on an apart computer under Linux.
Kinda like:
WINDOWS
COMP
----------
Renegade FDS
LINUX
COMP
-----
Brenbot for that renegade FDS
This way I'd have much less problems concerning the CPU-usage... Is this possible?

Yes, theroetically possible but it wouldn't work as the linux version of brenbot checks if its botmode is set to WIN32, and exits then with an error message.

Yes, should work without a hitch.
Just make sure you have a SMB share open with the logfiles, and renrem accepts connections from the other computer
