Did it give you the error before you reformatted? If not, there must of been something different you installed or did after you reformatted.

it did not say anything b4 formatting, it worked fine.
i know 1 thing that's different, how big my screen is and we can't change it. i used to have like 1280 x 960 or something and now i am stuck on 640 x 480, how can i make it so it can turn back to 1280 x 960?here the problem:

lol, sounds to me like your graphics card drivers are not installed, and ren install is probably not happy about that Rocked Over

i no y it won't work now, my monitor is not big enough, it's only 640 x 480.how do you make it bigger????it used to work, but now it doesn't.i used to make it bigger.how can you make it bigger?

...So dont max it out, just increase the size as best you can, and leave it the hell alone.

So, you want to have your screen size larger so you can play Renegade with a larger screen size?
Hmm, let me think... GET OVER IT! Ive played Renegade with your current screen size, and loved it. Why wont it let you increase the size? Does it not change? You have to hit "Apply" in order for it to change.

Do exactly what i say:
Open that screen.
Move the bar to the right 1 click.
Press "Apply."(That button in the bottom right)
If that does not work, RESTART YOUR COMPUTER AND TRY AGAIN.

Have you tried restarting your computer as a said?
What do you mean, cant scroll to bigger? Does it not let you? If it doesnt, just to be safe you should perform a Virus Scan. Also try deleting your background image and then changing the size.

Since your reformat have you reinstalled your graphics drivers? If not that could be the source of your problems.

*sigh* I told you to reinstall your graphics drivers at the top of this page..

If you dont know what type of graphics card your computer has then your stuck, shouldnt have reinstalled windows Rocked Over

EDIT: and why the heck did u upload a BMP image and not a jpg?

omg, all of you people are lost except for dan. What video card do you have? If you do not know, go to Start > Run and type dxdiag. Click yes when it asks you something, and once it's done loading click the display tab and tell me what video card it says you have.
