There's still about seven people who post on the General Discussion area of A Path Beyond, last I checked. That might be a better place to ask about Renegade Alert. As for me personally? I'd freaking love to play a nice, heavy game of Renegade Alert. Too bad it seems no one else does. Hah.

Ya me too i love playing renalert online. But there used to be alot of people on. Then when i went on one time there was 2 people. I asked one of them where everyone else went and he said they went to the Source. What source.

Due to popular request, my RenAlert server is still up and quite often has a game going. Just sit in the game, alt-tab and do something else while you wait for someone to join. It rarely takes long.
I'm the bawss.

You want a game? Read the details posted in the stickies on our forum so you're up to date, and then propose a game. Hint, hint, pick a weekend event, like a Saturday-Sunday thing or a Friday-Saturday event, for about 6 hours to get some good international participation. Then, people see it and will go. Post in the off-topic of the main section if you want people to see it.
That's how we end up with 24 player weekend games. And they kick ass. Even with 12 people, they kick ass, since 4 rifle soldiers can take a base down unchecked.
Edit: If you hate waits, come run to our IRC channel and see how many people are there. If there's about 20 people, then at least half of them have the game installed and ready. Whether or not they'll be available for a long game is another story, but worth a shot if you wouldn't mind a 4 or 6 player.

If you check the Renalert boards and are in IRC you can see when we schedule games and such. There are still a lot of people who like to play this game.

Demand over the internet, as if you could do anything to me anyhow. Very well though, RenAlert hasnt got the players Renegade does, and that makes it boring, seeing the same 20 people ingame cannot be fun, although it was better than reborn's beta. Reborn will never be done, it was buggy in its beta and lack-luster. All the other mods for Renegade explain themself. Renegade Mods suck, period. Play the real thing, BHS is still updating it through Renguard, and the gameplay is just better, involves more strategy, and has more players. <3 for the BHS

The most obvious answer would be that you're not running version .9332.(I think that's the version. . .) Crim runs that version, and .933 or below can't log on to her server. The other thing is that, yeah, for a while, n00bsvr05 was down. Possibly, t'was related to that whole "attacker" dealie when the normal Renegade server went down, but I don't know, personally. Anyways, now'a days, it's up and running.
Edit: Version .9932. I'm sorry. But hey, I was close!
