I'm looking to upgrade my motherboard to house all my new parts. My last few upgrades comprise of a motherboard and a processor.

I'm looking to spend between $70.00 to $120.00. Here is what I'm currently looking at:
http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/mainboard/mbd/pro_mbd _detail.php?UID=496

I'm pretty sure I've decided on this motherboard but just seeking more oppinion to keep my options open.

Any suggestions?

That motherboard is $37, do not get a motherboard that cheap. Do you mean $70 - $120 for both a CPU and a motherboard? If that's what you mean, your upgrade is going to be EXTREMELY small or non-existant, because the slowest Athlon 64 (which is even discontinued at some places) is $120.

If you hopefully mean $70 - $120 for a motherboard, then get this at least:

$150 for a motherboard. The most I'm willing to put out is $200.00 on a motherboard.

That board there is quite good for the price. I was seriously considering buying it.

Trust me, don't get that $37 motherboard. It may look good enough, but the stats don't tell everything. Plus, VIA chipsets aren't all that great.

Every board I've had has had VIA chipsets and I've never had one MB related problem.

I didn't say VIA sucks or has problems, I meant that there are other chipsets out there like nForce that are extremely better.

Speaking of boards, I guess this place is going to stay the way it looks like, isn't it? Sad

If you plan on getting a pci-e video card get this board.
