	| Post your Specs, processor, ram vid card, are you running any large backgrounnd programs that eat up ram when you launch renegade?
In the end it doesn't matter if you are who you say you are. You will still mean nothing to me.

When i have kids, everytime i drive past a fast food restaurant, im gonna punch my kid in the face, then they'll never wanna come..

	| Start > Run > "dxdiag" > Save All Information
Save that text file and upload it somewhere so we can take a look at your hardware and drivers. Normally alyways related to video card drivers or DirectX this problem is. If you post that file somewhere I may be able to help you.

	| http://www.nvidia.com download the latest windows XP drivers for the GeForce series. It is a 12mb file but it has the drivers for all GeForce cards and this should fix your problem. Also download DirectX 9.0a and install that before your video car driver.

	| Hmm Grey lines and white dots would indicate that the graphics processing unit (GPU) is overheating or has been overclocked too much. Check that the fan on the card is spinning, cheap fans are known to stop working unless you maintain them every so often. Also check if possible that your card hasn't been overclocke as this is one sign that would couse graphics glitches. If your system seems to crash a lot it could be a sign of a CPU cooling problem. If i ran C&C Generals for 2 hours or so it used to crash my pc due to overhating until I installed a new heatsink with a 7500 rpm fan.

	| Yes, the link I posted was for an installer, because nowhere does it indicate that you actually got it installed. Your original post said you were trying to install but it froze.
Anyway, if you are using a motherboard with a VIA KT-133 chipset, there are known issues with NVidia Cards and Windows XP with this motherboard. Don't know if they have been fixed or not (they hadn't been 6 months ago). I found I had to set the CPU clock multiplier in the BIOS to 100 instead of 133, which meant my CPU runs slower than it should, but I didn't end up with the Blue Screens/Reboots/Freezes.

May not be related to your problem, but I thought I'd post it just in case.

I think I'll even check the viaforums to see if anything's been found yet, and post back here if it has.
