I don't get why people are so uptight about something that isn't real!
I couldn't care what it is, whether blowing up London in YR or blowing up famous landmarks like the eiffel tower. It is just a game and has no real effect on real life at all.
Those types of people need to find something worthwhile to complain about.

When RA2's Expansion YR came out I played it at my father's house with his nosy ass girlfriend (i....must....destroy....) was watching me play it, and watched me play a mison where the briefing said I need to mind control the president and destroy the white house.
Shes all yelling at me 'FAIL THAT MISION OR I WILL BURN THIS CD!' Im like yelling back 'Fuck off, its mine!'.
She took it away and tried to hide it...luckly for me shes a dumbass that hides stuff on top of the refrigerator.
Honostly people, Its a game. The people that are bitching about it are usally the same people that say 'Its just a game!' when people argue over sports or whatnot. Its pathetic really.

I don't think the vast majority of Chinese was pissed, that was just written in an article, that does not reflect the Chinese opinion in any way...
Did you know how the mass media in Germany sparked off a HUGE anti-CS-propaganda after the massacre of Erfurt (a student killed 17 of his class-mates), as though that was the only cause for it...
The media likes to criticise PC-games on every occasion, doesn't mean anything...

Hehe, thats pretty funny. But Gen isn't getting nearly as much attention as Vice City (kickass game, if you don't have it then GET IT DAMMIT!). Anyway, I do remember Germany having problems with some WW2 games, pretty stupid though if you ask me.
And there is some truth to the argument games can push people over the edge, but you have to be pretty fucked (so happy that didn't get censored) to be that impressionable.

well, as a chinese in hongkong,
I didnt see any special news here and inside mainland ("china", the big part)
if things really happen, HK's media will make it headline and kick any censorship (or planning) hard.
I dont get why uptight about something that simply unreal......
ya know, those old asshole (usually 60+) in china just see things in 2 color
sharp red or sky blue,
everythings got a little blue or make red "dirty" just filter it out or kick u out of country.
just like some old junk in US just see things in color blue,
everythings not get piece of blue or cant control should go war with it....

but sadly the fact is old junkz rule the world / countrys  
so we'd just get rid of it and go renegade, not general.

and I know some of game players in mainland love c&c:general so much...

btw...I hate that suck game, it just "not C&C enough"
