You can customize Opera, and it has more than just 24 themes. There's something like over 500 different "skins" for Opera including the ability to change many things in the program.

Please stop being stupid, it's not good for your health.

It has many plug-ins and such that work with Firefox. Many many more than your Opera. I think you can use a hug. Go around town in your white van again!

No. Seriously. No.

And why would I need "Plugin to tell me when to scratch my balls" and other ludicrous items?

You have absolutely no idea what Open Source has produced. Go check out Sourceforge and Freshmeat sometime. And then there's that small thing where, uh, PHP and MYSQL are Open Source/free products. So get a clue before you start bashing open source.

I'm the bawss.

And just for the record, I would find a plugin to tell me when to scratch my balls far more useful than a stupid "skin".

24? Lol, that comparison site must be quite old. Firefox has almost 100 themes (and over 500 extentions) listed on its site alone.

Especially when it comes to the amount of exploits in Firefuck, which is astounding compared to none found in Opera.

Still, what's Firefuck?

Impressive.

You've gone from making baseless claims (that you've been repeatedly unable to back up) about Opera's superiority to the opposite end of the scale - Mozilla is now apparently a "plague upon mankind".

Have you ever considered a career in politics?

I'm not trying to change his mind about anything. I'm just pointing out how weak his argument is.

Spot the ad banner that you must suffer through to keep opera free!

http://www.n00bstories.com/image.fetch.php?id=1397874640

I prefer Opera because my computer has a habit of crashing often (both programs and the computer itself). The fact that Opera lets you start where you left off in the even of such an occurance is a big time-saving bonus for me. Though the download "manager" is a nice feature as well, if only because it means I don't have to pray my Internet Explorer-based download doesn't stall.

(side note: ignore the "stem cell research" page, I had just finished replying to another topic here.)

Hey, you even got my edited Nod Light Tank in the picture!
Yeah, the Downloader for IE is horrible, but atleast it works. Then again, i dont think an unworking Downloader would be called that.
I like your signature, Warranto. Loosely fits me, though im normally a Defensive Sniper. Fun to kill those Havoc Campers with just a Black Hand Sniper. I love it when they ask where im at. I either dont answer, or just tell them "Snipers Secret!"

Maybe you should check WHY the browser crashes a lot then? Spyware? virusses? Or just plain old windows that needs a reinstall after turning for about 1 year on that computer?

www.thekoss.tk check if opera can show this page properly. It uses div's and i know FF fucks up over it...

I didn't say that my browser crashes a lot.
Truth be told, I don't recall the last time it crashed.

Wow... it took you a couple years but you finally posted something useful again. Razz I was told that extension existed but I hadn't yet found it. A 2 second download and a Firefox restart later, and I have it. Smile

Another great extention is the one that automatically puts the url tags around anything that doesnt already have url tags around it and begins with www. and ends in .com/.net/.org, etc.

Great for people who forget their URL tags!

Open source programs can be MUCH better than closed-source ones. For example, say someone found an exploit in FireFox and its the beginning of a weekend/bank holiday. If an exploit was found in opera, that means that the developers would be at home with their feet up, and the expoit would most likely be around all weekend until the developers get back, and depending on the severity, it could take another day or two for them to fix and release a patch.

Now say FireFox had an exploit found. There are many more people with knowledge of the FireFox source which could easily come up with a patch in near to no time and release it for people to download.
