Can you add IP bans with the rban command? This has to do with the Nickname exploit patch that SIlent Kane released.

I need to add some IPs and I forgot how. Any help would be awesome!

I don't think you can add IP's yourself0. The hackers get banned automatically. The RBAN command is to view/remove those bans.

No, it's just there to remove the bans if needed. The only time they are added is when an exploit is detected.

Darn, would be really nice to be able to add some people that I've caught from my other servers to the one in question.

Thanks for the posts!

You can still use wolbanlist.txt to ban by IP. It will kick them out right away when they join. It's not as good as total rejection but it should be sufficient.

I'm the bawss.

That is excatly what I have done, it is just more amusing when people are banned via rban.

Thanks Crimson.

Ow BTW: I also finally found out how to use wolbanlist.txt correctly and it does a great job. Also very handy to name-ban people!
