I posted a reply on sum1 elses banned post and according to most people in their said i should post my own as that guy was talkin out his ass!
ok here it is:
A few weeks back I d/l an M16 (which in hinesite I still think is cool) and put this in my data folder, opened renguard, clicked renegade an proceeded to play. after joining my favourite server (XilServer) I gotta pop-up tellin me to get renguard! so I exited and did the same thing (as sometimes when u change ur login on WOL renguard is signed unda a diff login) clicked renegade and proceeded to play, but alas I got a pop-up again. So I went back loaded up renguard and waited this time. Then I got a msg from renguard sayin "you have been banned by mac on same date for tryin to bypass renguard, you have been disconnected goodbye!"
Now I have recently learnt that w3d files are considered dodgy and I needed to get them checked by renguard 1st, the M16 skin that I got was a w3d file.
So what I am basically asking is can I get unbanned? I miss my renguard, its sux not bein able to donate anymore

uhm I don't think w3d files could get you banned.
When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself,
First as a dark demon,
As a demon it uses its power to reign death upon the land;
and then it dies.
However, after a period of slumber, Razgriz returns.
This time as a great hero...

thats what i thought, I really wanna hear from 1 of the renguard team to find out if i can get unbanned
but any1 can put their 2c worth in if they want

I can't see why a skin would get you banned but I can see that you got banned if you were using cheats.
How about some proof that it was actually the skin that got you banned? e.g. a picture of the skin ingame.
And a screenshot of your renguard window saying why you are banned.

A screenshot of the skin wouldn't help. Almost every W3d is not allowed, altough you shouldn't get banned for it.
Still the only people who can see what happened when he was banned are Mac, or Crimson. He either did something on purpose, and knows what happened but he is a lot smarter then the average person who wants to get unbanned. Or something went wrong on the side of Renguard than he can't know exactly why he is banned.
Size doesn't matter.

Hey, I've got an idea why don't you send me the "W3D" file that got you banned, so I can see if RG bans you or not k?

Your Renguard starts up normally? Hell, mine starts up, scans, lists the files i need to remove, then shuts itself down. I love having that feature. What was the skin called, i might have tried it before?
