Ah, its racist tendencies come out yet again. Not only does he support the party that has Senator Byrd, the former KKK member and avowed mean mean black person hater in it, he also likes reading Tom Tomorrow cartoons that featured Condolezza Rice and Colin Powell being referred to as "House Niggas" in a very demeaning way.

Too bad it can't accept that the black people don't have to be confined to your little plantation to be your social slaves. When they escape from it, people like you find it prudent to bash them. Yes, that's a great strategy for you - bash the same minorities that you supposedly care about.

But wouldn't you agree that the destruction of entire species and the destruction of underdeveloped fetuses created by the person who chooses to not have a child are different things?

Nope. Life is life, regardless of whose life it is. If you are going to say that the "destruction of underdevelp[ed fetuses" is bad for one thing, then it applies to everything. There is no "life beings for animals at an eariler time than humans". If you are going to lable the eating of an endangered species as "killing" the animal, then the same thing applies to humans.

Oh, please. The cartoon that started this thread said exactly what it was referring to. The most it did subtly was link two dissimilar topics, which is no great feat. I personally believe no one can glean much humor from political cartoons unless you agree with what it's trying to say. The closest I've come is chuckling at one cartoon in the National Review.

Bush isn't the wisest leader ever, but he's on the right side. You liberals have managed to stall him so he's just riding out his term. During his first term he was kicking ass all over the place, but you just kept whining and whining and now he's just trying to maintain. I wish he would realize though that he's set. He can't get reelected anyhow, he should follow his morals and act.

I didn't think anyone could be a bigger idiot than the Tool, I guess I was wrong.

After spending an hour trying to find out what language your speaking, I've come to the conclusion that you suck.

"He keeping the rich, Rich and keeping the Poor, poor."

Its not his fault if your rich or poor, get off your lazy ass and get a job. In America they're are no poor people, only lazy. You have all the doors open to you, try your best, work hard and you can have anything you want in our nation.

"If he wanted to help the poor, he wouldn't have let all them illegal immigrants in for free"

So you want to close the boarders, or put a price to get allowed into America and have freedom? Thats very anti-liberal of you.

You just denied your own point, He lets the (we'll pick for this example) Mexicans into America for free and your against that? I thought you wanted people to be able to get out of poverty? They're looking for a better life, they're damn hard workers. He's allowing them to come here for free, and letting them make minimum wage when they get here (some cases this is broken and paid less, but this isn't a perfect world). Guess what, that minimum wage is a hell of a lot of money to them, its a start. From that leap, they can go on and do great things in our Nation they most likely could have never dreamed of in they're native nation. If thats not helping the poor I don't know what is.

Now before you respond to this, please use the new little spell check feature its great, and lets not forget to see if our sentences are comprehend able too.

Im not poor, and its due to my father not being lazy and me not being lazy. Probably the same for cowmisfit. If your lazy(and I see a lot of people who are) you won't go anywhere in life. America shouldnt have to feed you, feed yourself. Always been my motto.

If your family is extremely rich, you can be as lazy as you like and live a life of luxury, whereas if you're born into a poor family and can never afford to get an education it's going to be rather tough to make a lot of money.

Do you have any idea how many different kinds of scholarships and ways to get the money to go to college there are? Just because it would be harder for you than another doesn't mean you shouldn't try.

Clinton proved that poor people aren't poor because they are poor, it's because there aren't any jobs for someone with an average intelligence. 90 IQ isn't much for the average person, and if there aren't enough easy store jobs open, they're not going to be able to get a job without a degree. Sure, some people are lazy, but very few. Try living on no money for a year and then tell me that you honestly believe all people without jobs are just lazy and don't want one.

But I suppose I'm the stupid one for not believing Republican talking points where they alienate their own party.

cowmisfit

(some cases this is broken and paid less, but this isn't a perfect world)

The whole point of Bush's immigration policy is that immigrants can come in and get paid less than the minimum wage so his big company farmer friends can have what amounts to slave labor, farmers who have no representation, don't really exist in the country, and can't leave their situation because of a lack of economic options.

BTW: I saw the impossible today. A Republican Texas Represenative [Ron Paul] taking an anti-war stance on C-SPAN. Guess his mind drugs wore off.

I'm not labelling it as killing the animal. I, personally, label it as killing the animal potentiate. Which is what needs to live to become an actual animal. That's the point of endangered species having protected eggs and such. Not because it's more ethical to not let them die. If that where the case, you couldn't buy chicken eggs at the store. But you can.

And all I'm saying is that the exact same mentality applies to all potential living things, be them endangered or not. I'm not even talking about the ethics involved, or, as this thread revolves around, whether or not abortion is wrong. All I'm saying is that the same definition of life is to be applied to everything, and not changed based on how a particular group feels about a specific subject. That there is hypocricy at its finest.

I'll restate what I previously said in a slightly different way, perhaps that will explain it better. If you are going say that destroying the egg of an endangered species is wrong because it stops the potential life of something, then the same mentality has to be applied to humans/chickens/whatever as far as what the definitaion of life is. Not whether it is right or wrong to do the act, but what "life" is defined as. Then, from that definition, it can be argued whether or not the act is something good or bad; be it human life, california condor life, or chicken life.

ANY person who isn't mentally retarded (not meaning as an insult) has the capacity to be successful, and at the very least, support themselves. My upbringing was shitty at best. My parents could barely afford school clothes, and I had to deal with physical and emotional abuse from both of my parents. But I decided I wasn't going to let that affect me once I was 18. If I can do it, anyone can. And I didn't work this hard only to have to support the slobs who made wrong decisions in their lives.

All that, you think you right? huh

You gotta have money to pay people to cut your lawn, otherwise you would cut it yourself. So instead of paying someone with lawn expirence 40 dollars to cut the lawn. You pay a illegal immigrant to cut it for 10 dollars.thats keeping the rich ,rich and keeping the poor with expirence , poor.

FYI Comprehendable is one word not two! Sarcasm
