[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Westwood\Renegade\Networking\Op tions]
"MyLanName"="nick"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\ComputerNam e\ActiveComputerName]
"ComputerName"="nick"

Do you mean that ?

When people ask me "Plz" just because it's shorter than "Please" I feel perfectly justified to answer "No" because it's shorter then "Yes"

No I think he is talking about how the No-namers get their computer names like that. To know how to get to that, visit Cyberpunk's site at TURCS.tk. He explains exactly how to do it. I am pretty sure you need to know this for your new scripts?

Aparently it is possible to set your nickname to the same name as the hostname (via an exploit).
I need to know how to change the same hostname as that exploit refers to (so that I can then find where renegade stores it, read it in my code and compare it with the nickname)

Or

1. Type the name into Multiplayer Lan and then exit that
2. Hover over Multiplayer Lan so its lit up
3. Hit enter - up - enter as fast as you can so renegade believes you selected Multiplayer Internet
4. Log into WOL as usual
