What are you talking about? Did you install it properly? In the Renegade folder?

Well, what i did was delete anything to do with westwood, then i reinstalled renegade, then got mappacks, then i got renguard and now it works! Although..... rengaurd is not all that great...... yeah it stops people from cheating and stuff but it's kinda ridiculous to kick people just becuz they havn't downloaded your program when its not that good. Instead of kicking someone cuz they don't have it you should setup a voting system for when you suspect when someone is cheating, but only people that have rengaurd can vote, that way you'll still get downloads but you'll also have more people participating in games. well thats just my opinion i hope you can take it seriously.

It only kicks people whom are not running RenGuard under one (or both) of two instances:
1) The server is full-RenGuard, meaning that *every* user must use it (which usually is NOT the case)
2) The user has previously been voted off by the very same method you've mentioned: three RenGuard users requested that the user being kicked be required to use RenGuard.

As hinted at above, most half-RenGuard servers (eg, servers that don't *require* players to use RenGuard) have a command that allows other players to vote to require a player to be forced to run RunGuard, usually !forcerg < playername >.
