Sorry, but it seems like, well, crap. Too much of a gimmic to be of any real use. Not that I wouldnt want one.

Nice idea. I wonder how much they cost... Do they ship those things to the UK?

A gimmick maybe; but remember, IRL camping is allowed and no move that keeps you alive is a bitch-move. I'd request one for sure, beats blindly firing around the corner.

Are we going back in time? Seriously, this was news, like, in 2000.

Lol, that's completely rediculous, and utterly useless (and it looks fake). Mainly because it's just a handgun on the front of a medium machine gun body, you have the weight of a medium machine gun (about 20 pounds, plus whatever the rest of the crap on it adds) with the firepower of a pistol.

Also, there's already technology that can allow soldiers to shoot around a corner with accuracy without revealing themselves, one example is the (still experimental, I think) landwarrior system, where there's a camera attached to a normal assault rifle (like the M16, and maybe the new HK M8) that transmits the image to the soldiers helmet.

Wait, why does it call it a 40mm grenade launcher, when it's just a pistol (a Glock in this case), with a tactical light (and a laser?) attached below it?

I think, that if it wasnt as Pheonixx said, then they should outlaw it in the South. Not because were really nuts down here, just that... Well, anything that allows you to shoot someone (Like someone at WalMart Smile ) around a corner, before they see you, seems alittle... Well, Southern actually. Also, on a side note, me, my friends, and near about my entire family agree... The Glock is the WORST pistol ever made. It has been claimed that the Glock NEVER has to be cleaned. That is a load of shit. My uncle cleaned a friend of his' Glock before, that hadnt been cleaned for, i believe, two years. He said it was just green inside it, and all nasty, and... Well, ive never seen the inside of a gun (Seen the outside, the bullets, the clips, and even fired several rounds before.) before, but i would imagine that all the things inside of it, really need to be cleaned. Also, on another side note, i think one of the best Assault Rifles ever made (Accuracy/aiming reticle not included in thought.) is the AK-47, made by the Russians. Ive heard stories about how durable that gun is, that you could burry it in sand, leave it for a year, come back, and then fire it immiediatly after you dug it up. Also, i believe i ranted alittle in that post.

Also, do i have to contact Blazer or Crimson privately in order to have my own custom Avatar picture up? It said so in the Rules/Welcome thread...

Yes I've seen this and it's even older technology. You still have to expose your lower arm and hands when placing the weapon around a corner. The above system is next generation! Anything that keeps a soldier from harms way and gives him the advantage is a bonus Very Happy

Actually, only the soldiers fingers would be visible, not the entire hands and arms.

Which the technology I mentioned does much, much better, without having to carry around a 25 some pound Glock.
