This topic is for the purpose of listing the signs that you just might be a noob.
1. If your base is under attack by an arty and you run off to attack the enemy base leaving one person to simultaniously defend and repair the base, you just might be a noob.
2. If you think your refinery getting destroyed is a good thing, you just might be a noob.
3. If you think its noobish to mine, you just might be a noob.
4. If you think after five failed attampt at a solo tranport helicopter rush that the next one might work, you might be a noob.
5. If you think shooting at the same spot in an open field with an arty for over 30 minutes non-stop will do anything, you might be a noob.
6. If you go up behind a sniper that is taking aim at another sniper and open fire at the target, you might be a noob.
7. If you think aircraft will do any good on a map full of snipers, you might be a noob.
8. If you try to take out a mammoth as a regular Nod soldier, you might be a noob.
9. If you complain about how wimpy an apache is after getting owned by an experienced pilot, you might be a noob.
10. If you are GDI and try to repair your vehicle in the field and it gets stolen, you might be a noob.

4. well not 5 but Ive done 3 solo transport rushes the the 4th one worked....
6. i don't get it??? "open fire at the target" who opens fire you or him? and what's wrong at shooting a sniper from behind?

12. on hourglass, enemy loses their AGT and barr. if you think it's good to camp on the hill with a havoc/sakura, you might be a n00b.
13. if you take an enemy vehicle that's been left in your base by another player, you might be a noob.
14. if you rush the same building with a hotwire the whole game, and continually fail because they know you're coming, you just may be a noob.

Never did understand why anyone would want to 1v1 in a team-based game...always seemed sort of like an e-penis contest to me. But whatever floats yer boat... 
43. If you whisper obscenities at other players, then make up random bullshit to cover your ass when they reply calmly in general chat, you might be a n00b.

Um, if he is an "engy right near the turret" doesn't that mean he doesn't need to give up his Rave? Btw, I wouldn't give up my Rave to save a turret. Why? If the need to save the turret is that great, GDI is probably pounding away at your base, which means you probably have little to no money. A Raveshaw does a better job of staving away tanks than the one turret. Giving up the Raveshaw not only loses you a better character to help protect the base, but repairing the turret gives them more points anyways, it's just another target. Raveshaw is a better pick.

The turrets are useless unless your obelisk is gone, they do negligible damage, their accuracy is pitiful, their firing rate is pitiful.
Their only use is a warning system once you lose your obelisk, to draw attention to enemies in your base.
