I jumped into my server and started playing... and immediately noticed that I wasn't able to kill a certain player, whom was running RenGuard.
So, I loaded up fraps and recorded a short video clip to prove I'm not paranoid.

Anyone care to explain how that could be in any way not cheating?
There are no mods on the server to change the character's health.
It can't be lag, the server would have recognized the hits eventually, because the reticle was red (and Renegade servers are too trusting...) quite a few times.

Well, I'm not really sure but I'll take a look at that video
(the only reason I didn't check it first is because I have 128 k internet <_<)

That is the weirdest thing i have ever seen. I would have to say it was some rare bug...

Edit: Just looked at the origional movie file, and it occured ~50 minutes ago.

He's not cheating, though. He's actually in the Medium Tank. Sometimes there's a bug that makes it seem like the player's character is running around while they're really in a tank. Check the scores in the video.

Good eye, no wonder i didn't like the way his(TheToker420) score was jumping, i lil 2 much for a soldier with a auto rifle, and you can clearly see at the last 1/2 of the vid that as he runs back and forth the med moves back and forth and as he runs left the turret turns left...
I've seen this bug 3 times, 2 times happend to me and 1 time to a player on my server.
Edit: Kanezor, i think he needs to be unbanned....

I've never seen or heard of such a bug, in the year or two that I've been playing.
Yeah, you can definitely tell that the character follows the movement of the tank. But even so, what was I supposed to do? Is it possible to find out what causes this bug and possibly abuse it to make others think that you're not in a vehicle when you are? Eg, to divert fire?
It should be fixed asap, I think.

Honestly, prob not, because i have never seen a cheat that lets you be unlikable or heal yourself and i've seen a lot, i would look for someone with a wall hack/repair hack healing him.

I was going on the idea that he had bypassed RenGuard (with that !rg showed he was running it), and that he was unkillable and acting like a shithead about it (eg, not shooting back, trying to pretend to be stupid)...
I have seen exploits where you're able to heal yourself, btw. One such case is if you get a friendly to throw C4 on your knees, and then you were to aim your repair gun at the C4, you'll heal yourself.
