Hi im Moby
I play alot on Unrules Newmaps and we frequently have renguarded players that are cheating! So to answer is renguard hacked? Yes. How many players cheat is unknown some do it more secretly then others. But i think 20 players or more. (ask fooker for details)
My suggestion is upgrade renguard put in a manual file checker (something like dir/s/b c:\games\renegade\data\>dir.txt and ftp the file to the server owner. So the server owner can check the data map of a certain player.

when u !rg or !forcerg its says player Is using renguard and when u check it in mric with !pi it confirms user is using renguard. still he killl the whole team with 1 bullet as a soldier

no but there were mutiple offenders its a group of about 10 to 20 people maybe even more so its hacked big time

The longer a program is out without major updated the greater the chance some one hacked/cracked it. And hundreds of cheaters had 11 months to find ways to get around it.
The actual bypass is not something that anyone can be done just by anyone, you need a significant amount of coding/decompiling/cracking experience to do it, which not a lot of ppl have.
I am really waiting for the next renguard release, which from the specs sounds a hell of a lot more secure then the current one.
I say stop the work on all other projects and focus on RenGuard 1.4

I too experienced a hacker which sounds very like the one you are talking about.
The person had no name it was just blank, im not sure exactly how they were killing everyone, but the person apeared to have one shot kill, with auto aim which cannot miss and had the ability to shoot through walls or they guy had hacked a sort of admin rights, so he could kill people freely

Yes your update to check each player for what they have sounds useful but might consume bandwidth on the server as it would have to send a text of every player every time the program scans each player's directory...unless you modified it to send them every fifth time or something
Also without names, dates, screenshots or anything your story is a whistle in the wind... sorry.

First off, I *am* a server owner, not just a director of Blackhand Studios. Second, you can't go "omg some people are cheating in RenGuard, it's hacked!" and expect us to just magically fix it. We need a HELL of a lot more information than that. It's the same as if I said "Hey, Joel, I hid a box of money, go find it." -- how would you go about looking for the money?

U guys need to go on a reading course my message states:
I play alot on Unrules Newmaps (this means server: Unrules Newmaps (for those who dont get it) i further state ask fooker for details. (this means ask Fooker for details (about cheaters) if u want to contact server owners u can use a program called mirc (u can download it http://www.mirc.com) I believe blackhandstudios has created this tool on mirc so i DONT GET ITS WHY I HAVE TO TELL U HOW TO GET IN CONTACT WITH THE SERVER OWNERS but the adres is UN.KICKS-ASS.NET. Stop the lame passive agrresive comments its getting us nowhere and for the third time I havent heard anything about my suggestion how to make renguard better.
All i hear is WE the makers of renguard think the program is 100 pct ok there are no cheaters we dont want to make upgrades YOU moby pissoff.

I have never heard BHS say that RG was 100% ok. Have you? If so quote it. :rolleyes:
