As some may already know Terry Shiavo, the women who spent 15 years in a bed suffering miserably, died today. The battle of her custody finally ended and her parents can start the healing process from their loss. Her husband is getting re-married and according to some stories he is a heartless person who wanted her to die. But who knows maybe all the publicity drove him insane.

May Terry Shiavo rest in peace.

Yay for the media perverting actual events.

- It is biologically impossible for Terri Schiavo to be suffering.
- During the first two years Terri was in the hospital, the courts determined that he was extraordinary in caring for her.
- If anyone's insane around here it's the Schindler family, who at one point declared Michael Schiavo a murderer.

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -- Theodore Roosevelt (1918)

"The danger to political dissent is acute where the Government attempts to act under so vague a concept as the power to protect "domestic security." Given the difficulty of defining the domestic security interest, the danger of abuse in acting to protect that interest becomes apparent. --U.S. Supreme Court decision (407 U.S. 297 (1972)

- You don't know what a cerebral cortex is, do you?
- Fake emotions for two years straight, providing an incredible amount of care for Terri? And it's not like he just stopped one day, either. There'd better be a damn good reason to disprove that.
- Only in your eyes, not the eyes of something important that matters, such as the law.

Terri did not suffer. And she does not need a tribute. She was dead 15 years ago, it's just taken this long for her body to die. She was in a hospice; you don't come back from those places, you go there to end your days in comfort and with dignity (this isn't the issue though).

The only reason any one gives a shit is because the media blew up the story to epic proportions.

God only know how many people die in conditions far worse then hers. And no one gives a shit about those people. I doubt you will ever go to a hospice and help people threw that tough time. People who are fully aware what is happening. And are in pain.

I feel for the poor souls who have no one. Who are dying in old folks homes and in hospices around the country, completely forgotten. It's not nice to watch someone die, you see. very few of them have the care or attention that Terri had in her fifteen years of not knowing what planet she was on.

I doubt the news in any country, fox or otherwise, will do a story about that.

This is not about Terri, it was about a persons will, the right of guardian ship, and the right to choose ones end.

I need a drink.

As the old saying goes. One Last Time.

- Am I a biology major? No. Stop trying to make yourself seem smarter because I don't give two shits about the anatomy of a human being. I know the basics, and that's all I need to know in order to get through life. If I want to pursue science as a major, it'll be Chemistry anyways.
- It's not that hard to fake emotions. So he cared for her for years on end. Who knows he could have had some incentives to do it. There was probably something else from him to gain from it. I don't know what, I really don't care to know what.
- So not having the proper documentating showing that Terri would have wanted this is legal?

- You certainly don't know enough about the brain to address the issue at hand as if you do.
- What reason do you have to believe Michael Schiavo was putting on an act all those years?
- Weren't there 5 corroborating witnesses saying they heard Terri Schiavo's wishes?

Who the fuck cares? It's none of our goddam business, it's the business of her family (and husband) and that's it. We shouldn't be prying into their personal life.

Your ego is showing. And so is your intelligence. You are not arguing, all you are doing is pissing on your opponent. There is nothing stopping you from being intelligent and using your own brain to for a good and well pointed argument. Instead, - Dildos - comes in to it.

You are a fool.

- So you're not disputing that Terri Schiavo cannot feel, hear, or see?
- But do you have a reason to think Michael Schiavo is a bad person? His actions point to him being a good person. So are you assuming he's bad or not?
- But could you pass it off in a court of law? Probably not.

What ego? Didn't you forget "or lack thereof"? I'd love to see where you came to that conclusion. You obviously didn't understand the reasoning behind that point, and I'm not even going to bother trying to explain it to you. It's clear as day.

SFE:

No, I'm not going to argue it because I don't have proof to say otherwise. I may believe that she did have feeling and could see, but until I have proof for it, I'm not going to assume I'm right.

From what I can see, my parents are being suckered into a deal that I don't see necessary, and they're wanting an approximate $25,000 from this whole ordeal. While I don't see those people necessarily as "bad", but I don't see their intentions being set correctly. I mean, I know for a fact that my dad's procedures of business do not require $25k in time and utilities for them to be fixed. Same for Mr. Shiavo. I'm not denying that he loved her (or at least did some years before), but I don't think his heart was in the right place. I mean, he had a semi-living wife for 15 years, yet he still slept with another woman enough to get her pregnant with 2 kids. I honestly can't see sincerity in that man.

Lying in court isn't completely uncommon. If the story's water-tight then they can easily get away with it.

Do we have to debate this still?

She's dead for God's sake. It doesn't matter anymore. She is dead, and no crime was committed.

You do realise that the post came in one pargraph don't you? Do you even know how the word ego was intentioned, do you even know what that means?

Ok I can explain it to you if you need me too. The first two sentences are the intentions of the paragraph.

Your ego is showing. And so is your inteligence. In other words, your persona, your id, your online sheild that protects the real you from the one sitting behind a desk. I am describing you describing your self.

You are not arguing, all you are doing is pissing on your opponent. This is starting opinion of you and my perception of your argument. I am not arguing my self but giving my opinion of your activity.

Instead, - Dildos - comes in to it. This is a simple addition to the above, this is me pointing at what was typed and loling to my self.

You are a fool. this is the conclusion. Fool means many things. Jester for instance. A smart man would have cooled of and said 'yeah I said some stupid things,' and recovered.

You did not.

On their own they mean nothing. But put together they are sword that i can wield. And a shield in which I can defend.

I thought they still taught this at primary school. Like I said.
'Your ego is showing. And so is your inteligence.'[/i]
