If you doubt me, I invite you to look in your data folder for a C&C Glacier Flying.txt file which says I own the map and all the copyrights involved. Westwood placed that file in the patch - that's all the legal ground I need.

His ISP aren't going to do anything though - it's not like he's hosting a modified version of the map on his site. If he was, you could get them to remove it. Otherwise, they're pretty much powerless.

Say....Ack do u own a copyright licence to prove ur innocence? i have been in this situation so many times when i used to be in web design industry and unless i had a licence people could steal my work or "Rip" it.

Ack would have to OWN a copyright licence, or else you wont get any monetary compensation, and a court wouldnt take you seriously.

ACK, get a full copy of Glacier Flying (change the readme from aircraftkiller to your real name), burn it on a CD, and mail the CD to yourself. The mail will have a post office (part of the US gov, so its legit) timestamp on it. This is commonly known as the cheap man's copyright.

If you dont have any kind of OFFICIAL proof--a copyright--he can release Glacier_Flying_AI legally.

rest assured, if i cared to take time to make maps or do any of that crap, i'd fix all of ack's maps to my and other's likings, which is exactly what some of these other modders should do. ack can't do anything, he's all talk.
