Just so you know, the author will allow you to remove the "made by" thing, at least he let me remove it when I used this template. It looks like you took a ugly stick to it, though.

Well im getting it to look pretty nice now, but i still need someone with mad paint shop skills.
I did however put together our flag.

The downloads are messed up because the bot mods i have are all messed up, and the place i got them from is messed up too. But im adding the nocd.exe today and maybe something else.

Well, I have some mad paintshop pro skills, but I do not have the ideas to create a website template image.
When history witnesses a great change, Razgriz reveals itself,

Looking good now but the most important thing is missing (apart from messed up links);
Add something to the main page, immediately or quickly visible, about what the site is actually about and what's on it. example. n00bstories.com quickly explains its purpose, and in any case, if you go there you are most likely a gamer who knows what a noob is anyways.

This banner explains the site, as does the URL, n00bstories.com
You don't need HULKING banners that annoy people, all you need is a little something that explains what the purpose is.
This made me go, "wtf?!"
Also, remove the links that are like "N/A" and if you want, use a WYSIWYG editor, like Nvu. I used it until I used Photoshop and Nvu screwed up my template, so, yeah... Though when I used the template you have I had no trouble whatsoever with Nvu.

So what ideas do you have for me that could "Explain" my website better from the get go? I like my banner, but I will make one that is not pixleated or have someone do it for me. But what do YOU think would help make it better?

Take away the flames, replace with black
design a new top logo to the specific size, and again for the one above the links. Should be ok after that.

Ok... First it needs to be framed batter. the text in the middle just looks cramped. i would go with some sort of rusted metal motif with flecked red pain. This is because I like Nod. i suppose you could go with a yellow one. Templates arent all that hard to come by.
This is if you have photoshop and can use it.

Then you need a banner. One that isn't pixlated. These are not hard to make. It just takes a little imagination.
For a banner try Red scorpion on one side. Black back ground, Picture of kane on the other. Use a soft eraser or mask to mix them together, then have renegade or command and conquer printed in the middle with a nice text effect. make a simple boarder.
Then a simple black back ground for the rest with do ya fine.
A simple presentation is what you need. For the time being anyway.

Change the text font, remove the N/A links, make a smaller, better banner that's the same size as the one that came with the template, use one topic to discuss this site, and do other stuff that anyone else suggests.

The banner is the size of the one that came with the site, I am currently working on a non-pixleated version. But what should i replace the N/A links with?
And like I said, we are in need of a graphics artist. You can see what goodies you get access to as an affiliate on our main page.
Anyone have any more ideas? Keep the ides, coming.

Definately lose the n/a links, before you do anything else. The banner could do with shortening by about 30%. Apart from that it looks better than anything I've done.
No flashy signature..
