They aren't blocking any sites on my school... Instead they watch random people's screen... If they see you are doing something you should not... Ouch... Beter get ready for some extra lessons.
Sometimes they even put someones screen on a big screen... I think they call it a smart board, not sure though. So everyone sees it... Lol.

Luckily I'm a student. They don't want to spend time to secure the internet since we have to much ICT students like me who need the freedom for our study, and are able to hack our way out of it anyway. Some security problems were quit funny.
After a coffee machine crashed, we plugged the thing back in so we could use it in. While rebooting the system we found out the IP adres of the machines system that was needed for our schools digitsal payment system. So we of cource tried to start a tellnet session with the machine, and to our suprise we actually got acces to some program on the machine using tellnet.
We couldn't really find out how the program worked, it had some problems. And it seemed to crash after we played with some contrast settings, but it was funny none the less.
Size doesn't matter.

This is mainly a bunch of random crap that works at my school, not sure about the rest of you. My school blocks most stuff, not sure about those proxy's though, can't test it now. But, we can send a site review request, and add in a little coment, so what I did last week was write 1 paragraph in the little comment thing about how the RenegadeForums are an excellent educational discussion board for technology and software . . . blah blah blah. . . And Today, guess what, it wasn't blocked LOL. They didn't even check the site they just read the description. Sometimes I wonder how stupid the people running the school security is, people don't have to enter a password for their student computer account. (I changed someone's password since they didn't have one) There's also no limit on how much our student folders can hold on the network drive out school has. So I am going to fill up the last 15 gigabytes of it so that no one can save anything, with someone elses account. My friends and I like to cause trouble, never get caught. . .
Here's something funny you can do, if you can get to the command prompt read A, otherwise read B
A Open the command prompt. start > run > cmd. or C:\WINDOWS\system32, then find the command prompt in there. type in net send * message, replace message with whatever you want the message to be. That will send the message in a little pop-up (pops up above anything and everything) to all of the computers currently logged in on your school's network. It says which computer it came from though, so, not to good of an idea unless you stop in an empty classroom real quick and do it. There's also a way to do it anonymously, I haven't done it yet, but here's some reading about it. . . http://www.codeproject.com/internet/anetsend.asp

What i usaly do is.
Create a shortcut, properties CMD > enter.
Your own CMD.
We got just normal rights, but if u know the right commands in cmd you can basicly do anything.
They kinda secured it here aswell. We got a limited space on the serverdisk.
Wich is 10 Megabytes for Word files Ecta.
But there's also drive wich has all Network programs on it. Created a map by tweaking a bit. I got Red Alert in it. And now everyone is playing Red Alert via the shortcut on school  .
For myself i got a way into C:Documents, and i placed there various emulators,roms. I even Tried installling the Renegade demo. But the Win installer wont alow me to. And even if i would i wouldnt be able to play online cuz of the proxy.
Anyways, they run win 2000 on the school does anyone know.
How to get on everyone's names via X:/netuse in the dos command?

Im lucky now. Once your in year 10 at my school, you get unlimited access. A few peeps have gone to see porn and that shit. Before that, I used to get blocked, I couldnt visit theses forums without a prxy. Bloody websense.

If your school even has a crappy security system or tech loosers i wouldn't suggest the netsend. In the last 2 weeks alone i've had 2 freinds get suspeneded for month for that crap One sent out "All ur base r belong to us" or w/e it is. That was funnier than hell tho, everyone in history was like W-T-F and i knew exactly what it was so i just took a SS .
My school has interegated me "Can you do this if we do this?" "Cna you get this password if you have this this and this" blah blah blah.

Our school system is genius in ways.
They have blocked pretty much everything you can think of, Run, CMD, Hard Drive, Most of the internet, Command Prompt, Reg Edit, Installshield, the file menu in IE and folders.
The only dumbass thing is they can't figure out how to stop explorer opening a new window for every new folder you click.
This is on windows 2000 btw.
