I thought maybe some of you would like to take part in this.

It's that time again. We'll be accepting any entries that you want to submit to us... Included are two logos, Soviet and Allied, to help you get started in designing a banner... These two images are copyrighted to us and are not distributed for anything other than the banner contest.
RULES:
-You must have your banner entered no later 25 March. Anything not in by that date will not be accepted.
-It must look professional. We will not put a blurry, faded banner made in MS Paint at the top of our website. Use a real program (ie: Photoshop, ect..), and put real effort into this. Keep them at the highest quality possible.
-The banner must be 1003x120 pixels. No bigger, no smaller.
-The game title should be the main focus, do not use "APB", use the full game title "Command & Conquer Red Alert: A Path Beyond" - Extra consideration will be given to those who recreate the Red Alert atmosphere, especially with the same kind of lettering used in the Aftermath and Counterstrike expansions.
-Something from both teams, Allied and Soviet must be in the banner.
-Use your imagination and create something wonderful!
You'll find the logos here: Logos.zip
The logos may get replaced with the more official looking versions, but those should do for now. Submit your banner to this thread.
Contest prize: The winner of the contest will earn one of three prizes:
Entered into our internal testing and evaluation team.
Being hired as a graphics artist.
Forum moderation of any public forum of their choice.
DO NOT COMMENT HERE UNLESS YOU ARE SUBMITTING A BANNER. ANY AND ALL NON-BANNER SUBMISSIONS BY THE GENERAL PUBLIC WILL BE DELETED.
Note from Chronojam: I'd like to remind everybody that there should be neither RA2 content, nor the words "Renegade Alert" anywhere on your banner! This banner is to be for the RA1-inspired mod Command & Conquer Red Alert: A Path Beyond. Don't let the URL confuse you, "Renegade Alert" is the W3d edition and we're asking for a new banner for the Battlefield 2 edition of the project!

Do we have to use the RenAlert logo that is in that .zip file?
I might make one, but I don't want to be stuck using that because it looks too out of date IMO.

This one would be done anyway not in the process of redesign.

I don't understand quite what you're getting at here, could you clarify that for me? We aren't planning on changing the look of our site, other than the banner, in the near future. Maybe we will later, but not now.

What I actually meant was instead of taking ages to redesign the site, it would all be allready done.
But anyway, I'll have a shot at a metal grunge banner sometime soon.
