j4sp, or jasp, would you be in a clan that plays that many games that you need this program? I used to be in a call of duty clan( [xXx] )that also played unreal tournament 04, and even then it was shitty to try and get a game going in UT because people couldn't be arsed with 2 games as a clan. I think we even played 3 games at one point...

xfire is a silly program that you don't need unless you game too much. the only thing of any importance is the messaging people in games, but even then it's worthless. just message your damn friends on MSN and have them tell you what game they are in; not a problem if your friends don't lack discipline and check their MSN every now & then. lol do you even require that your friend is logged in to XFIRE for you to message them? all MSN has to do is add a function that lets the msn new message alert.wav be hearable while the target has a fullscreen 3D game running, and they have a program better than this one.

and wow a server browser, like we don't already have one that the others inherit their functionality from.

If you want to minimize your game, get the server's IP, message them... but may not work if they don't minimize too, then waste 2 minutes trying to maximize again, be my guest.

I don't know what he responded with, the first time or the second.. so either he made a really kick ass argument, done a good job of insulting me, or both - i'm guessing the latter.

either way, he seems to put more emphasis on it being an argument, than what the argument is about. after about a thousand posts of this you kind of get the drift of what the person is like.... there's never any benefit in arguing with these people or getting to know them, because they suck cock and just plain like to insult you. why read his posts at all?? they're a waste of time, they reek of someone really bored or unemployed or something.

besides, my point was kind of made.....TWICE.... it's a pointless program and this is a pointless thread. the idiocy of many Xfire users is shown in that petition -- do you really think some e-mails and messages of a web page will stop them? sure, maybe if Yahoo were wimps.... in which case they wouldn't have filed a suit in the first place. just use your head...

He was right about that one. I did make a kick ass argument then insulted him. The rhetoric was just for fun, though.

What's wrong with liking arguments? I don't go searching for them, they come to me, and with tons of idiots like him, they come in abundance.

If I remember correctly, I proved my point and then insulted him. It was sort of a killing two birds with one stone. It's much more fun that way.

I just love how his thoughts contradict numbers. If it was such a pointless program, over a million people wouldn't use it. You'd think that after the first few thousand it'd die out because it sucks, but apparently it can still suck and reach over 1 million users!

whoa.
