Recruit

Well, ive tried everything. Tonight I uninstalled renguard and renegade, and tried again. I guess it just made things worse. I couldnt DL the patch, its finish, but itd never install. I'd get a game.2 error or something like that. I figured it was because I installed RenGuard first, so I uninstalled everything again.
I just installed once more, and I still cant Dl the patch. I dont have Renguard installed yet, so whats wrong? How come I cant install the patch?

Do a clean install of Renegade and then update it:
http://www.fanmaps.net/downloads/renegade/Renegade_1037_English.exe

Download and install RenGuard:
http://download.renguard.com/rg_downloads/RenGuard_Setup_1.03.exe

Run Renegade (RenGuard should popup) and choose to ENABLE core
patches. Try it ONE more time to make RenGuard patch your game
automatically as it SHOULD work.

If the Core Patch 1 installed correctly then:
Download and install the No-CD version of Game2.exe:
http://www.fanmaps.net/downloads/renegade/Renegade_RenGuard_NoCD.exe

If the Core Patch 1 did not install correct again then download this
small package and manually install it into your renegade folder:
http://www.fanmaps.net/downloads/renegade/CP1small.exe

If no matter what you do, your RenGuard keeps on and on looping about
installing the CP1 then install this:
http://www.fanmaps.net/downloads/renegade/renguard.reg
This works in some cases who had the 'cp1 loop' before. O.o
