I hate bubbles, in my opinion of course. I have Xp Pro, and i use the classic style. The bubbles is a little too "13 year old girl" to me.

You can rename the drive and letter at any time, but the word Local is completely windows.

Look in your 'Administration Tools' directory in your Control Panel. Then access the 'Computer Management' program, then simply go to Disk Management. You will be able to do it from there.

Actually, I think default the label isn't filled. When it's not filled it automaticly changes to local disk.
But If you type in as label, Locak disk, well it will show as locak disk. It takes 30 seconds to reproduce this "error". Just type in Locak disk as volume label.

It could be really a bug, but I wonder.

Size doesn't matter.

yeah, seems like who-ever labelled/formatted the drive previously hit the "K" instead of the "L". I don't think it's a Windows bug.

OK here it is:

(
Windows Xp Pro
Version: Who knows
)

According to my version, you or another user, renamed the drive, then on the way back to rename it, pooched it.
