Dell Dimension 3000
Intel Pentium 4 Processor (2.80GHz, 1MB L2 Cache, 533MHz FSB)
256MB Shared* DDR SDRAM
40GB Hard Drive
98MB Integrated Intel Extreme Graphics 2
48x CD-RW
Integrated Audio
256k DSL (Qwest msn, wireless) Getting rid of wireless and going wired.
Ok, I posted this because I need some help. My computer can only have PCI graphics cards. Dell does not sell them so I have to get what you would call a third-party graphics card. Any suggestions?
I am upgrading my ram to 512MB Shared* DDR SDRAM
Also, for all you who are 18 or older, I am only 15 years old, bought this computer myself, have hardly any money, and need money. So I need a good graphics card at a low price. And truely, Renegade and Zero:Hour are the only games I play on my computer.
Money spent on PC: $600
And this following qoute is directly to kfc who posts alot of trash-talk in the forums. "We don't care if you are from LANManiacs, or if you have all the money in the world to build your PERFECT GAMING PC, so stop mawking and dogging all our pc's.
I need help finding a graphics card that is a PCI card. And that would run C&C Generals Zero:Hour like a dream. Renegade works fine.
Thank you all for reading this post. I appreciate it. And I would like to hear "EVERYONES" suggestions if you can post please. Thank you.

deadfive | I researched some PCI cards and I can get a 256MB card. Thats way better.
and oblivian, why are you so dam rude?

256mb isn't always better. I suggest taking IRON-FART's advice for a video card.
I have a 256mb video card, but there are a ton of 128mb ones that are like 50 times better than mine.
Video cards aren't mainly measured by memory, just so you know.

If you buy a 128MB card, although it has less memory, the quality of the chips will be higher and the card will be cheaper. You don't need 256MB though for Renegade or Generals. 128MB will serve you fine for both games.
