On 3/1/05 I will be in this computer program calld PC Genius. It is so great. I have spent the last eight years working with computers non-stop. This class is going to teach me everything I need to know for the following:
3D Modeling
FPS editing
How to "CREATE" a basic program like noteped.
These are just a few of the hundreds of things I will be learning. I encourage people to get into something like this if you are interested into computers like me. I am not even paying a cent. How? My dads freind hooked me up with the works. I get to work with a Alien Ware computer!!!
For those of you dont know, Alien Ware computers are the best gaming computers in the whole freekin world! Wish me luck in this new class. When im done with this class in two years, i will be planning to make a somewhat useful program for renegade. Don't know what it is yet but it will be worth it in the end. Wish me luck!

Good luck with it!
I tried my hand at programming, but my patience and attention span are minimal...So I didn't learn much. (I didn't go to a class though)

I went through it and configured a computer with a AMD Athlon 64 FX-55, 2 gigs of ram, a 256mb Geforce 6800 GT, a 200gb hard drive, a 19 inch monitor, 5.1 speaker system, a printer, a scanner, XP Professional, Office XP/2003 Professional, and 3 new games for about $2800.

spreegem | It's cheaper if you get all the parts from somewhere like http://www.newegg.com and assemble it yourself. You still get what you want, and it's cheaper, except it might not look as good.
|
YES. For $1000 guaranteed you can make yourself a kickass system. That's if you already have a monitor though...

Hehe, I put together my system (already with a monitor, mouse, operating system, etc) for $600. That was a year ago, and it's still pretty kick ass. The only thing that really needs upgrading is my memory (512mb PC2700) and my video card (Geforce FX 5600 256mb).
