I dont know how well known this is, but Microsoft is recalling alot of their power cords. My brother just sent me the link, and i had no idea.

They will ship you one completely free.

They said that mine is fine.
What's the issue here? Are the older power cords defective?
EDIT: Found out somewhere on their website, nevermind.

Personally I like my Xbox over Ps2. Also I have almost every system except atari. Every Nintendo system is mine! W00t!
Anyway back to the the topic, I had to order one of these. O well I got all my systems taken away for bad grades Lol. Still got the ole Comp. though!

Majiin Vegeta | did you guys find out what was wrong with the wires?
i heard on the news it was due to the wires getting hot and melting.. people got burnt >_<
|
That happened to my friend's Xbox. He was playing halo, left it on and forgot about it for a couple of hours, when he got back it smelled like something was burning, and it went out. He disassembled it, and found the power supply had gone out on it.

Yet another reason why Everything > XBox.
I tried a friend's XBox out...it was so horrible that I went and played on my NES for a few hours afterward to cleanse myself.
