Clear scope, well if you wanna talk about that, you may as well talk about the skins that make stanks show better, etc.. I know I don't.
Personally, I have never used skins or different scopes, so I can't add to this part, never needed them and I know my game is fine without them. I also never snipe until I need to help cover a Nuke/Ion, or help my team with killing repairers or 1000 characters (if there are no other's on my team already), which I think was the original meaning of the sniper. I will continue to lmao at Snipers that shoot tanks for points, prolly using a clear scope no less "giggle again"

I use it, I use a 15" monitor. Basically I think they cancel each other out. I miss my 19 
Anyways if people want to call it a cheat, any skins with colours are cheats, stealth skins are cheats, vehicle colour changes are cheats.
OGM PEOPLE WHO HAVE T3 CHEAT, THEIR PING IS TOO LOW!?!?1/1!1
If you want to be anal about the smallest advantage then why not do it for all the little ones? I've never seen anyone call someone with 20kbps a cheater. It's worse than any because people just walk into walls so yeah

Big difference between clear scope and FR. Like death said, you can see more - that won't change your accuracy. It's just like breaking the law. Going 61 or in a 60 vs 200 in a 60

it is not a part of the game, it is an external file that is planted into your data directory
its the same as bright colour skins, its cheating, as its impossable to hide in the shadows from these people.
how is that not giving you an advantage over other players?

you said "cheat" not advantage.
I was pointing out, in the same way as Homey and ACK and a lot of other people that its exactly that, an ADVANTAGE, not a cheat.
also, a minor flaw with your whole "might as well allow FR then" thing,
clear scope is a skin, FR is not.
the game came out of the box custom skinable,
therefore its totally within the boundries of the game.
ps. the post title is also wrong. it should say 'skin' not 'script.'

Somone on Athlon 64 FX vs. a guy on a p4 1.5, IS CHEATING
stop complainging, it makes sniping easier and renguard doesn't block it, so download it if you want.  no one cares as long as you dont' run the renguard blocked cheats.

I only use skins for fun. That what their for anyway. People dont make Spongebob c4s because you can see them better. They make them because its funny. If i want an apc with "Nod Sucks" witten on the side or a Lizard colored Med tank, ill use them. They make the game much more engoyable for me and thats what games are for, Having fun.
As for a clear scope, who cares, all it does is make them more vulnerable to the good players. You should urge people to use it, youll get more kills.

I dont understand how people can possibly think clearskin is cheating. Who in their right mind actually plays an entire game in scope? Are you saying snipers scan for targets zoomed in? The only time I zoom in is when I see a target that is far away. It also doesn't give you a distinct advantage when aiming at someone, unless their head is bigger than the view allowed by the original scope, which in that case you would need the entire screen :rolleyes: but of course I think we know when that would be. So this "advantage" over others is bullshit.
P.S. - One could argue that clearskin is a disadvantage, because the green makes it easier to see in dark places when scoped....
