hahah

i mean wtf..

i start streaming my video training.. as i'm watching i say
"let's browse Ren-forums" so i get here.. i get attacked..
then my internet slows down to nothing!

hosting the pix took forever

i was gonna go and download another Firewall
just to see if i could get the same results..
but i couldnt.. i had a transfer rate of friggin 2.4k!

so i got pissed and just left lol

i had a total of 305 attacks when i got back

i found this on a diff forum

Symantec has admitted that a serious vulnerability exists in the way its scanning engine handles Ultimate Packer for Executables.

According to a ZDNet article, this means the scanner would execute the malicious program instead of catching it.

Tim Hartman, senior technical director for Symantec Asia Pacific, said: "A vulnerability is not a vulnerability till somebody discovers it but because this is now known,
somebody could craft an e-mail, mass mailer or a virus that takes advantage of it. It affects our firewalls, antispam, all the retail products and the enterprise products as well"

Symantec recommends you immediately patch your software.

like whats the good good stuff.. not zone alarm and pc chillin..

atleast sumthing that gets updates and all that

i have norton net securtiy - anti-virus - and system works 2005

gotta be able to replace them all..............

Norton's not completely horrible, but it isn't all that great by itself. If you want something free and decent, I'd suggest using AVG, or if you want a really good one and willing to pay, Kaspersky is good.
