Hi,

I have a problem with RG SSC 1.02 on a linux server. It has been installed without the BR Bot. So far so good.

When I or other players join it we get kicked with the message: "You need RenGuard to play on this server. ..."

We all have RG 1.03 installed. What might be wrong with our server? How can I fix that?

SS-CP 1.3 should fix the bugs with Half-RG.

Standalone SSC 1.02 is pretty old. But it should work alright.

It has no half renguard mode.

Try to use the brenbot 1.41 included in sscp1 1.3 in linux.

If your users are on the local lan, RenGuard won't work for you, you need to add them to the ssc_ignore.txt file then.

Half-RG? I have not seen that one yet.

SSC 1.02 is old? It is the latest one I found on http://www.renguard.com/downloads.php

Where can I download latest SSC for linux?

We would like to use RG without brenbot 1.41 cause we do not like the weapon drops after someone got killed and the money replacement boxes. Would there be a way to use it without these mods?

Don't install SSAOW then.. plus, these options can be turned off in server2.ini

The SSAOW is installed now cause the most important thing is to make it run. Smile

I am going to take a look at the server2.ini.

My admin asks which Perl/POE Module it needs.

edit: We still get kicked by RG.

edit2: Added information: Debian Sarge with 2.6.8 Kernel and Perl 5.8.4-5 installed
