Does any one know how to use a Aplication recovery disk on an other computer its not designed for? Becuase i just got this new comp but i wana install this ap that came with my old comp. Thanks.

It's not possible unless you have some old one based with win98. REALY not possible if its XP. If it's a Dell you're screwed becuase the disks are tied to the hardware.

ok well the disk is from my sony vaio laptop that uses windows xp home 2003, and my desktop uses xp pro with all the updates and stuff. I really wana use dep progs on me desktop

pop the disc in and hit explore.. or like u should be able to see if u can pick and choose if u can install single things from the disc

ive reformatted computers b4 that have just the xp install disc..
but then the rest of the system stuff like devices drivers were on a diferent disc
