Yes. Find out which ports the Renegade FDS needs and forward them to your computer.
Your router will have a configuration page that you can access by typing in 192.168.1.1 in your web browser. The IP will not be the same for all routers. That is the IP for Linksys routers.
Anyway, go to the configuration page, find the port forwarding section and forward them to your internal IP.
To find ou your internal IP, click Start>Run>Type "cmd">Enter>Type "ipconfig:> Enter.
Look at the IP adress there and that is your internal IP. Forward any ports you need for the FDS to that port.
Visit the website of the company that makes your router. They will have manuals up there.

Actually some people can host servers even behind routers. I can without any ports open, but not Teamspeak or other apps

Well you could set DMZ host to your internal IP adress too and not open any ports.

I never find DMZ hosts worth it. It gives to much access. If your trying to run a server just simple open up the ports. If your not sure and iron-farts first suggestion didn't work call your router manufacturer and they can walk you through how to open ports on your specific router.

Yea, I wouldn't reccomend DMZ myself because it does give a lot of access to the outside, but its a hell of a lot easier to setup.
