Well thats why they banned him. If he lied about something of less importance, then they probably would have been more leanient. There may have even been an explanation for it. But this is something pretty serious to lie about.
If you are a cross-dresser, ok you freak me out a little, but if you turn out to be one ugly 17 year old girl (with a beard) then, thats something totally different.

Think of it this way: you're a fifteen year old, Renegade-playing boy, and some seventeen year old girl goes, "Oh hey, you live in Boston, so do I!" You play together for a bit, get to know each other, she suggests a meeting. Now being a fifteen year old boy, a chick invites you somewhere that seems to have everything in common with you, you'll bite at the chance. You make plans to meet, go to some restaurant, she doesn't show up, but this weird thirty year old man sits down instead.
Now if that's not creepy... well, I can understand the ban.
